Our little Cole is a little over 4 months old and we thought we'd take some pictures to celebrate!

Nana made this beautiful afghan for Cole. I love the way he is looking at it...his lips show how focused he is. Ty has the same afghan but in a beige color and it's the only blanket he has slept with for his whole life. I don't know if it's because it is so soft or because he knows that it was made with love...but he loves it and I hope that Cole will find the same comfort in his 'B' that Ty does.

One of the best nights of the whole Holiday Season...We surprised the boys with a ride on the Polar Express. It was so cute to pull up to the train station and have the boys so excited as they saw the trains. At one point during the ride our little hostess told us to look at the side window. As we did we say SANTA waving at us from the north pole...We had arrived at the NORTH POLE! It was so much cuter than I thought.

Uncle Pal did it again...Nana turned 75 and got a surprise party. This was Nana's 3rd surprise party from Uncle Pal...he is such a sweet son.

Another Burn

The poor kid. I understand when he hurts himself...Like the lip! He was running to the bathroom and decided to drop his pants as he was running and as a result tripped and slid into the door jam of the bathroom. The inside of his month looks worse than the outside.

But, the burn was not his fault but he suffered for days because of it. Roasting marshmellows is always fun but don't walk past your bother as he starts to burn his finger because you could possible get a two prong metal roasting stick in the face.

There is one burn mark on the upper right of his eye then anther burn mark in his lower eyelashes. Then you can see where the two prongs slid down his face. For the life of us we don't know how it missed his eye...besides the fact they he has a host of Angels around him to keep him safe...And he needs them.

Trav took him to the doctor and they put the dye in his eye and there were no scarring. They gave him antibiotic eye drops to clear up the irritation.

He loved it as much as they did. My favorite part of this whole experience was GG. As they were putting Cole's lotion on GG said..."COLE, HOLD STILL!" It frightened me and made me laugh. I've never heard her talk so firmly...and she really thought Cole would stop moving if she used her 'mom' voice. I loved it!

Nana spending time with the boys. The best part is she taught them that they were in charge of the ducks and if they walked into the ducks the ducks would move. So, they learned how to get them back into the water and how to be in charge. But really...They always 'think' they're in charge so this wasn't anything new...just a change of who they are trying be in charge of.

Pretty Proud! He's become a true competitor, super fast, and really excited about running! We're all really proud.
I'm excited to be (post pregnancy) back in the game as well....One morning we loaded the stroller with the two youngest, Gav on his bike, and Trav and I with our running shoes on and went on a family run. Ty wanted to go 80 miles but we made it four! It was so relaxing and rejuvenating to be out as a family. I.LOVE.RUNNING...AND.MY.FAMILY.

It was just another day of getting Gav off to school and Trav off to work...Until I realized that it not was 'just another day' and Trav needed to get me to the hospital. At 5:46pm our little Cole Preston weighed in at 8 lbs 11 oz and was 21 inches long.

Our first mom and baby moment. I love that he totally crying once we were skin to skin and I love the special feeling that he brought with him from heaven. He is the most calm baby that we've had. So very calm and peaceful!

Ty thought his first day of Preschool was never going to come because he had to wait almost a month after Gavin's first day of school. But, the day DID finally come and I think he had mixed emotions as is evident in the first picture.

We love Nana being their for all the big moments in our lives.

And, we're thankful for Beckie and her love for children and teaching.

Baptism Day

Gavin's Baptism day was the most amazing and special day. The calming spirit that surrounded us was a wonderful reminder of the things that are important...family, covenants, service, love, and peace. I was surprised that Gavin was nervous...excited but nervous. And, I'm grateful that I didn't have the baby. I was worried that the baby was going to come on Gav's special day.

We have a wonderful place in town called Jumpin' Jack's. It's every kids' dream. It's a huge building filled with bounces houses. Gavin would like to go there every week so he was especially thrilled when we offered to have his party there. He just invited a few friends to this party...(we usually have huge parties for him but my huge belly prohibited that this year ;-)

This is before all the kids had red faces and where close to having a heat stroke.

He is so happy to be a scout. One night a few months ago he was doing a Boy Scouting activity with Travis and Gavin was asked, "What happens when you turn eight?" "I will become a scout." ( the man asking the question wanted to hear baptism...but we have laughed many times at this conversation) If you know Travis then you know why scouting is a big deal in our house. If you don't know Travis here is a small run down....Trav has been the Young Men's President in the last 3 wards we've been in. He loves scouts and everything that goes along with it. At a very young age Gavin learned the love of scouting by watching Travis.

I'm not sure who was more excited to go buy the scout uniform but one day they came home with big smiles on their faces and all the things needed for a bran-new little scout. And to go along with going to school the first day Gavin was also able to go to scouts for his first time. It was a very busy day and a very happy boy!

3rd Grade...Oh My!

WE HAVE A 3RD GRADER! I remember thinking I was so cool and grown-up in 3rd grade. I'm pretty sure Gav is thinking the same thing. He's loving 3rd grade because he gets to ride his bike home this year. He loves it and I love it because I get to take the bike away if he's not good. It's really good leverage.

I was really really really super nervous about him riding home by himself. So, we drove his bike up to the school and we showed him how to lock it up. Then we had him show us how he was going to lock it up. Then we had him drive his bike home while we followed him in the truck. I laugh at myself because we were being so protective. But, it gave me peace of mind that he would be very cautious getting home. He's rides home with friends everyday and that helps me not to worry and he has fun.

Nana always goes with me to drop the kids off at their first days of school or anything else when we need her encouragement. The boys love it and I love her support too.

And, there comes the big boy and one of his friends. I was one relieved mom as I saw him pedaling down the road. He did a great job and he was very proud of himself too.

Magical

We've been to Disneyland and California Adventure almost more times then I can count but I can count Gavin's and he's been 5 times. Crazy...5 times and he's only 8. I'm going to go ahead and call him spoiled! But, this year was special. Why you ask? Well, he was one brave little dude...He went on Space Mountain for his first time. He was worried but he and Grandpa Don braved the roller coaster together. I think one reason I'm so proud is because it was my first BIG roller coaster when I was his age and I'm sure I was just as scared as he was.

Trav stuck with me and my 7 1/2 month pregnant belly and it made it the best trip ever. We didn't try to fit in every ride. We just took it easy and did what the kids would enjoy and it was relaxing and enjoyable.

Off to the next adventure...

This is mostly for nostalgic reasons (and for Karen). On the Disney Cruise the kids got these Mickey Mouse shaped chocolate dipped ice-creams almost every night. They ended up being so good that the adults started getting them too. I was so excited to go to Disney Land and eat one again. Trav almost died because they were four bucks but Gav and I were so thrilled. And, they tasted just as good as we remembered them!

And, this was the end of our pictures from our 13 hour day at Disneyland and California Adventure. The boys were the perfect age and enjoyed every ride they went on and Trav and I enjoyed watching them have so much fun. Thanks Pam and Don for an amazing trip.

Sand Between Our Toes

We went to California in July and our first stop in Sunny Cal was the beach. We had never been to Huntington Beach so we decided to try it out. It was a lovely afternoon and I'm sure I could have stayed on that sandy beach for days and days.

First thing Ty tried to do was show the waves who was boss...

...the waves won.

He was set on wearing his shark swim shorts with his shark tooth necklace because..."dah mom, were going in the ocean!"

Gavin just tried to avoid the waves.

These little feet are growing up way too fast.

We thought this was funny. It looked like we painted his hands and not his fingernails.

I call them my friends but you can call them DOLPHINS! Trav first thought they were sharks. They made us smile with joy.

Trav wanted to swim with Gav...

...but, Gav is almost as big as Trav so it made it a little difficult to just 'pick him up' and take him out into the water. I love that these show how big Gav is getting.

That smile has my heart.

Where's Waldo...or Trav! Trav said that he loves to be covered in sand because it relaxes him. He truly fell asleep and was sad to wake up.

He was covered in sand...Oh, the lovely sand and sound of the waves - I miss you but we will be back soon!

More Lake Please

A few weeks ago we went to the lake again...I bet you can't guess what Ty was excited about? Why do we have to have a 4 year-old who loves the thrill of danger. Seriously, he loves to be scared. It all stared with the swing a few years ago when he was terified to be pushed high. But, then something changed (or should I say...something 'snapped') As we would gingerly push him on the swing he would say, "more scary please - more scary". We learned to push that swing sooooo hard because he loved the thrill of being scared.

And, now we can see in everything he does that he tries to push his little body to its limits. Whether it's jumping off the very top of the house boat, to flipping and diving at the same time into the pool, or wakeboarding with his uncle. It doesn't matter he never gets enough...the KID IS NUTS and I'm scared to death to see what he is going to try for his future stunts. Do they make medication for mothers that have children like this because I'm going to need it.

And, I have to mention one other thing. Because he is smaller than Gavin we've called him a midget. It was okay until Gavin started calling him a midget because he did it to let Ty know that he is the 'little' brother. So, then none of us could call him a midget. He learned to hate the term and get's really mad. But, do you see how small he is out there on that kneeboard...he is a midget. And, if the wave and wake get really big behind the boat we can't even see him because he is so small on the board. There have been other boats stop to watch him kneeboard because he's a midget. ;-)

And he's off! (the first time he tried to talk me into kneeboarding I told him no then he looked at me and said, "Mom, I have to see what I can do". Well, how could I say no to that.

He talks to himself out there.

He really tries hard to get out of the wake. But, I'm glad he can't do it yet.

A few time he dropped his one arm like the boys do when they are wakeboarding. We can tell that he really tries to mimic the wakeboarders.

I'm proud of the little dude. If he crashes he'll swim right to his board and wait for the rope to come to him.

Then we found some adorable hitchhikers.

I'm glad Gavin smiled for one pictures...Because he did NOT want to be out there.

Ty was so happy that Grandpa picked up the speed when Grandma got out there.

Then is was time for Grandpa to really have fun. And, we had fun watching the brothers get the snot beat out of them.

Boys Gone Wild

Uncle Pal Lake...or Lake Powell? As we were getting close Ty asked, "Are we at Uncle Pal Lake yet"? We laughed pretty hard.

We had another fun trip to the Lake. But, this time included the boys scaring me the whole time with jumping off the top of the house boat + kneeboarding + wake boarding (We didn't get any pictures of Ty wakeboarding but Uncle Mikey stood him on the middle of the board and cruised in and out of the wake...they even got a little air. Ty loved it so much that he wanted Mikey make a big jump.) I think I might have held my breath the whole weekend. But, they were old enough to do all these things for the first time and we are very proud of them.

And a side note. Always remember the camera. iPhone pictures are NOT that great.

Trav has taken the boys fishing many many times this summer but it's always the wrong time of day and the fish are not biting. But, he felt it his fatherly duty to make sure his boys catch fish... (He doesn't give up easy...sorry little fishies) Our friends took us to this little pound and the boys finally LOVED fishing (and I'm sure the fish loved that the boys kept catching and releasing them too).

Water and Hiking

This hike is my new favorite - Kanara Falls. I totally fell in love with the beautiful landscape that weaved the trail through the trees and foliage and in and out of the water. Next time I'll take my camera instead of using the iPhone for pictures. But, I'm glad that we could get some pictures of such a perfect day. Thanks Evans for letting us join you...it's always an adventure when we're together.

Zoo Day

It was so fun to go up north and have the Evans and the Gunther's at the Zoo with us. It was perfect weather for a perfect day at the ZOO!

I felt the same way the boys look.

Not only was there multiple places that were stinky but Brooke's Special Zoo Cup had a horrible smell too.

FYI - Make sure to take a brake from the animals to practice Karate.

King for a Day

Trav is a Jeep Addict. He talks about Jeeps all the time. A bumper sticker that gets the point across is "It's a Jeep thing - you wouldn't understand" He got a brilliant idea to rent a Jeep. He tried for days to get the Jeep he wanted for a good price and he succeeded. Along with all his 'talk' of Jeeps he has giving the boys an obsession for them as well.

So, with Trav's birthday falling on Memorial Day and the keys to a bran-new Jeep we were off to the dirt. I don't know if the kids were more happy to have a Jeep or to have it be green. Ty kept telling us we should keep the Jeep and never give it back. They were thrilled. Trav took the top off and smiled the whole day. I kept telling him that he was king for a day - and he agreed.

We took dirt roads for hours all the way into Enterprise so that we could fish. The boys loved it until they fell asleep.

Then the next day came and Trav had to return the Jeep. Oh, the sadness. But, I think he has been pacified for a while because he loved every minute of that Green Jeep!

Swimming

After camping we came home and the boys were ready to try out the pool for the first time this summer. I would say it was a hit and that we love having a pool. (and here's more of, "Mom, take a picture of this...and this...and this...and this". They love the camera.

Birthday Camping

We celebrated Trav's Birthday with a camping trip to a place close to Springdale. But, according to Gavin we were camping in a parking-lot and it wasn't 'real' camping. However, Trav and I loved the camping conditions. Not only was it clean but it had power hook-ups, Internet, bathrooms w/ showers, pool, and a convenience store. Needless to say, Gavin had to admit he liked our camping accommodations after he experienced all these wonderful luxuries.

With all the cruise posting I've really gotten behind on all the other things that have been going on. So, let's do a little catching up...

Ty's Birthday was March 28th and we had a Pirate Party for him at Pirate Island Pizza. The kids all came dressed as pirates and had a really fun time. I was 100% amazing at how well mannered all Ty's friends were. For a bunch of 3 and 4 year-olds they had wonderful behavior and I was proud to have them there with us.

Here are the last of the pictures. We were very blessed to be able go on this cruise. We made wonderful memories that will last an eternity.

Every meal was amazing. 5 Star Service + 5 Star Meals.

Our waiter loved Ty and Ty loved him. Putu was his name.

The waiter and his assistant always had games and tricks for the kids.

It was hard to come home to NO service after having wonderful and happy people catering to us for 7 days.

These two enjoyed each other. This was under the table at dinner one night.

The kids' areas were just as amazing as everything else. They put on all kids of science projects, experiments, and activities.

	There was a different show every night before dinner. And sometimes we could hit a big show then a little performance as well. I can't tell you how amazing it was to be entertained ALL THE TIME. We just had to show up and enjoy. And enjoy we did. Every show was amazing. Singing, dancing, props, stages that moved up and down, along with fireworks. They never stopped amazing us.

I'm glad we didn't have to use this life saving devise. Sometimes we were so high up on the ship that is was frightening to look down into the water.

Cabo Beaches

We went to two different beaches on two different days. One was a safe beach with very little waves but hordes and hordes of people pestering us to buy things. The other beach was determined to eat us alive with strong waves but very little people. I'm glad we experienced both.

I am one happy little mama...We were able to see our little baby in an ultrasound today and OH BOY this house is gonna be a jumpin'. We all thought it was a girl and Travis was 100% sold it was a girl but I was relieved to see that little pee pee. I know pee pees. I know bugs in pockets. I know dirt. I know stinkiness. I know that I love me some boys and I'm telling you and the world that it was a privilege to find out that we get another wonderful, energetic, rambunctious, loving, and adorable little boy.

You know how you always wish you had your camera out for that one funny moment that you would like to remember and share with others? Well, I had my camera out...ENJOY!

This all happened in Cabo Mexico as we were getting off the little boat to enjoy the beach.

"Oh, I'll take some pictures of us getting off the Taxi Boat." "Wait, Karen is in the water."

"Oh my gosh, Karen is still in the water." "Why is her husband walking away?"

"I don't know if I should laugh or not but this is really funny." "I think Wayne is going to her now."

My favorite night was the Pirate Night. It was so fun being dressed up and to see almost everyone on the whole boat in their pirate attire. The deck/dance party was a blast and I was one very happy pirate.

My first thought was to make a book about our cruise but then I remembered, "Oh, I turn my blog into a book"...So there you have it...and you 'get' to see ALL our favorite cruise pictures. Yep, that's right ALL of them!

I love these eyes. And, as I was taking these pictures, before we boarded the ship, I didn't truly realize how these eyes would light-up with excitement 100+ times a day. These eyes are what made the trip 110% with it. I love them all!

...I wanted to spread our pictures out from the 7 Day Disney Cruise over a few blog posts as not to bore you. And, the other good news...Well, there was only 20 pictures verses the 585 pictures that were taken. I think I'll be making a book.

First thing first...This kid can DANCE. He even went up on stage and danced with some girls.

And, I wasn't too happy about having bowling pins thrown at my head but it makes for good memories.

We ALL look mighty spiffy for the Golden Mickeys Night.

You can't go wrong with a huge TV on deck. Gavin loved swimming and watching a movie at the same time.

Karen, Ty and I were the only ones that wanted our pictures taken with the characters. (why am I a giant?)

The kids looked forward to the towel animals every night. Okay, we all looked forward to them. ;-)

Lake to Lake Relay

Trav ran in the Lake to Lake Relay and loved every minute of it. 4 months ago he didn't like running and now he's running almost everyday - Amazing! He's promised me that he would run the 2012 Marathon with me. (I wonder if he hopes that I will forget that promise. NEVER!)

They ran from one Lake all the way to this Lake (50 miles) and Trav was the lucky one that had to run around this WHOLE Lake. But, it made for a great picture.

The New Pad

We are thrilled to be back in our old church stake. We love this neighborhood and this ward too. We feel so blessed that the Lord wanted us here and that he made it possible for us to make the 'change'.

It was pretty amazing to wake up and be surrounded by snow the first morning in our new home. (We all thought it was pretty special)

I loved going out and seeing our palm trees in snow. That always makes me laugh...I don't think palm tree like snow.

Change

It's funny that we make plans and think we know the outcome of those plans but the plans change and...We'll I thought we would be in our last house for 5 years or more and what do you know...it was only two years.

We put in this little backyard. We enjoyed slip n slide, BBQs, camping, games, gardening, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, naps, and the stars. But, we will have those good times in our next back yard...What I will not have is my running partner (you can see her house in the background) we ran these streets a billion times and I will miss meeting her on the corner. Thanks Rebecca for the miles and miles of fun...Remember we are doing another marathon together.

And now Christmas Eve...We spend Christmas Eve with my family. We eat Chinese food, read stories, Gavin & Ty do a 12 days of Christmas production and then Santa comes and leaves the stockings and presents too.

Christmas Time

with the move and the lack of internet I've got to play catch-up. So, here we go...back to Christmas.

It was a lovely Christmas...One of the best Christmas we've had. The spirit of Christmas and Christ was so strong all through the holidays and I was very grateful to enjoy the holidays knowing that as soon as the kids opened their gifts we would need to pack their new toys and make the move. So, even though I was filled with the spirit and enjoyed all that came with the season I dubbed this the "Hurry and open your gifts we need to pack them - Holiday".

So, we will start off with the Annual Gingerbread House Decorating and Nana's Birthday.

Lifesaver - yum

The the boys had fun with this project...I could only find packages of Lifesavers that where individually wrapped but they were very motivated to get them out of the wrappers so they could make their candy canes. They tasted so good too. (thanks BrookeO for this idea)

How to Make

1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. Arrange the eight lifesavers into the shape of a candy cane, alternating between colors.

3. Bake for 3 to 6 minutes, until candies are melted.

4. Remove from oven.

5. (if you want) Make a hole in the "top most" candy by pressing the drinking straw piece into the ornament, leaving it there until the candy has cooled.

6. After the candy is completely cool, gently remove the straw and thread the ribbon or yarn through the hole to hang the ornament.

The Expedition Relay is a 50 miler with a 5 member team. We had tons of fun, enjoyed the runs, the weather and the scenery.

This is a different type of post. Yes, these photographs hang on my walls and I love to stare at them. I feel so much joy and gratitude as I longingly gaze at them. There are many reasons for this infatuation with my art.

Turkey Day Football

On Thanksgiving Day Travis really wanted to play football with his brothers but they were all out of town (he was sad)...On the other hand, I was thrilled for him to be home and watch him play football with the boys for hours. He taught them all sorts of throws, tackles, & plays too. They loved every minute of it...So much so that they want to play football everyday.

I always think that if I get everyone's Christmas bought early that I will not be stressed as Christmas approaches (and I've accomplished the gift goal)...But, every year I continue to be stressed around the holidays. I don't want to be. I want to bake, decorate and think of others to serve. But, as I sit for hours editing pictures the reality sets in...I'm once again busy with work. BUT..I'm grateful for the photo shoots that I've had and grateful to be busy and grateful to be enjoying making others happy with their photos.

I'm very lucky to have a job that I love and enjoy. I love getting to know new people and making new friends. And more times then I can count I've been touch by people that I've been taking pictures of.

Last week I met the sweetest 10 year old girl. She needed to have her picture taken with her family before she started her chemotherapy and losses all her hair. I love her and her family and I'm thankful for the opportunity to get to know this beautiful girl who has to deal with the stress of finding out she has cancer then two weeks later starting treatment.

Or, there are those dear little infants that I get to take pictures of. They are straight form our Father in Heaven and I always tear up during those shoots. Everyone that is there for the infant shoots are very reverent and calm. I love taking pictures of those peaceful little babies.

And then there was the boy...Oh I will always remember that dear boy. He had many physical disabilities and a hearing disability too but was so handsome. I was at the high school taking Sadies Dance pictures and he came in with his date. She sat down with him, looked at him and said in the sweetest voice, "Now you have to put your arm around me...Put your arm around me". And in a very timid way he put his arm around her and smiled so happy as I took their picture. His sweet spirit touched me. But, along with him his date touched me too. She was the cheerleader type...beautiful & happy...and she asked this sweet boy to the dance when any of the boys at the school would have jumped at the opportunity to go to the dance with her. I was humbled because of her humility and love for another. I thank them both for changing my life that day.

So, the end result is...it's okay that I'm busy with people and their photos. I'm grateful for them and hope they always have a wonderful time with me and love their pictures.

I'm so thankful for his example. He had some setbacks with this race...flat tire and only sandals to wear are a few of the things...But, this boy just kept going and was happy to be there. It makes me cry every time I think about it. He was so brave, nothing was phasing him, and he did a great job. One day I will be as calm as he was in such circumstances.

I'm thankful for running. I've been missing it lately because it's been so cold and I'm just not brave enough to go out and freeze my tushie off...
This was the last race of the season. I loved every minute of it. I love that Travis ran it with me. I love that he barley had to train for the race. I love that he was so happy the WHOLE TIME, took pictures the whole time, and evening did a little Face Booking WHILE RUNNING (okay, to be honest...I think I told him to put his phone away at least three times but now I look back and I'm thankful for all the pictures). I love that he was more sore than me the next day. I love that the weather was perfect. I love that the course was beautiful. And, I love that I beat my last 1/2 marathon time too!

Teaching

I'm thankful for my Uncle Pal. He is always taking time to be with the boys (and me). He teaches them how to fix things, how to be respectful, and responsible. Gavin and Ty follow him around like they are lost puppy dogs. I always appreciate the time and attention he gives to the boys. (Even if some of the times is spent as it's-my-duty-to-torture-you-because-I'm-your-uncle) I'm grateful for it all...

I'm thankful for Travis's family. He has a HUGE family. Projects

I'm thankful for kid friendly projects. The boys love creating and doing new things. And, I love watching them have fun...So, we are all winners in the life of projects.

This was a fun homemade puff paint project. I made the puff paint with self-rising flower, the kids painted it onto the paper, then we put the paper into the microwave for it to rise and harden. They loved it.

I'm thankful for this little monkey who jumps faster than the eye can see. He also leaps buildings in a single bound...At least he thinks he can. I love that he is excited about everything...well except being told what to do.

He is very serious about his nightly rightual which includes:
-bathroom
-taking pajamas off (he will only sleep in his backwards underwear)
-pick a book
-have the book read to him

-shut lights off and mom or dad stand at the door while singing
twinkle little star, 5 little monkeys swinging in a tree, 5 little monkeys jumping on bed, the itsy bitsy spider, and the wheels on the bus.(but we only do 1 monkey on each of the monkey songs)

I'm thankful for this boy who is so tall I can't even carry him to bed without his legs (or arms) dragging the ground.
I'm thankful we go on dates and he is able to talk nonstop and be himself.

I'm grateful for the great outdoors. I love going out and hearing...nothing! I love the fresh air. I love standing on top of a mountain and remembering how small I am in this world. I love knowing that all the beauties of nature were created by our Creator.

Aspens are my favorite tress. I enjoying listening to the wind blow through their leave. Sometimes it sounds like they are talking to each other and other times it sounds like they are making music. As I watch them blow in the wind they always look like they are dancing. And in the fall their leaves turn beautiful colors of red, yellow and orange.

Today, Nana's best friend's son past away. He was older and had kids and grand kids too. It's so sad to know that his kids will have to continue this life without their dad. Nana's friend has now sent two of her children back to our Heavenly Father.

It has been a sad day but also a reminder that our Heavenly Father loves us and doesn't want us to hurt. He has a plan for us to live here and in the eternities with our families. I'm thankful for His plan. I'm thankful for my family...we have our trails, our blessings, our faults, our joys, our hurts, our love - and the best part is that we have it ALL TOGETHER.

Girls Halloween

I love these girls. I'm thankful for them and the one night a month that I get to go laugh and be goofy with them. It's fun to be ourselves and to love each other and our craziness. We've been wild and crazy for 4-5 years...WOW! Time has flown by.

Yes...another Halloween post! And it will not be the last either. ;-) What can I say, it was a busy and fun Halloween. And that's what I'm thankful for...the kids make each holiday so much fun and very special. They are always so excited about the decorations and the fun treats that come with each celebration. I love celebrating the holidays with the boys. They don't even know that their excitement is contagious... it's fantastic!

Gavin's Halloween

I am thankful for Gavin being a kind big brother. He takes such good care of Ty (especially when we wants to). I love watching Gavin being loving and gentle (with Ty and other kids too). He helps me so much with little things like unloading the dishwasher or big things like helping with Ty.

Gavin had his school parade and Ty joined in on the fun. Then we went into Gavin's class and helped with the Halloween party. Ty had fun pretending he was a big kid. The teacher told the kids to put their things in the cubbies. Ty went up to the teacher and said, "But, I don't have a cubbie". I am wondering if he was thinking..."You need to give me a cubbie because I'll be coming to class for now on".
